Seven years ago, two of the King of Rock ‘n Roll’s self-proclaimed “biggest fans” met online.
And after sparking up a conversation on Facebook, where they shared their admiration for Elvis Presley, the Gqeberha author and American academic have now co-authored a book dedicated to their hero.
It was Selwyn Millborrow’s dedication to the literary arts and his enduring love for “The King”, which culminated in him co-authoring Operation Gratitude: Kill Colonel Tom Parker with Janet Bostic Williams.
Williams holds a bachelor’s degree in business management and Christianity from Houston Christian University.
Milborrow has an honours degree in Afrikaans and Dutch literature.
He is busy with his master’s degree research and lectures creative writing, and Afrikaans conversational competence to isiXhosa-speaking students at Nelson Mandela University.
